# The Air Porter carry-on is an exceptional bag for your flights

I've taken the Air Porter carry-on bag on every flight since 2017\. It'll probably last another decade or two.

Travelling is stressful, particularly if you travel frequently or fly long-haul. These days, it's also complicated by the need to pack our digital tools for work.

The Air Porter by WaterField is a feature-rich bag that I never knew I needed. But I'm hooked now.

**What I liked about it**

A lot of thought went into the design of the Air Porter.

Features I loved:

- Comfortable leather-covered handles.
- Fold-out side pockets for water bottles.
- Passthrough slot slips over suitcase handle.
- Comes with waterproof exterior zippers.
- Made of heavy-duty waxed canvas.

Crucially, the hand-stitched bag was really well-built and isn't any worse for wear after dozens of trips.

**Spacious interior**

The bag has two main compartments with multiple functional pockets that make it easy to store various gadgets and accessories.

Like most bags from WaterField, the inside is lined with a beautiful golden nylon liner for increased visibility - it grows on you!

I could pack a rather astonishing number of items in the Air Porter. Here's what I brought along for my trip last week.
