Claude 4 was just released with exceptional coding and reasoning capabilities. If you are not using AI, you are already falling behind. I'm serious.

Today is *UnfilteredFriday*, and let's talk about how everything will incorporate AI. Whether you are ready or not.

### Claude 4 is here

First, let's look first at the just-released Claude. I haven't had the chance to try it extensively yet, but here's a quick rundown of it:

- World's best in coding.
- Available as Claude Sonnet 4, Claude Opus 4.
- "Instant" responses and extended thinking modes.
- Optimised for agentic workflows.
- Can now do web searches.

Bear in mind, that it's relatively expensive, particularly Optus 4, compared to the likes of DeepSeek.

### Did you write it?

Last week, I exchanged notes with another LinkedIn creator. After reading a couple of top-notch articles from him, I DM'ed him: Did you use AI to write your content?

Short answer: Yes\*.

*\*Multiple AIs were used across various stages*.

And I realised I probably didn't mind.

As a writer, the only clues I had that his articles might have been AI-written were a combination of these:

- The arguments were superbly articulated.
- Everything was very well written.
- He's written quite a few of these pieces.

And no, writing wasn't his day job. What raised my suspicions was my personal estimation that it's too many for someone with a non-writing day job.

AI-generated content is already out there, and even someone like me had to rely on non-language clues to guess it was AI-written.

My advice? Stop watching from the sidelines and start exploring how AI can help. Because writing using AI is becoming a skillset in its own right.
