The new iPad Pro offers both jaw-dropping features and prices
Dees it make sense to buy the new OLED Apple iPad Pro?
Dees it make sense to buy the new OLED Apple iPad Pro?
Have you read about the new iPad Pro? Apple earlier this week launched its new iPad Pro tablets.
- Eye popping tandem OLED display.
- Thin as an opened foldable smartphone.
- Out-of-the-world processor performance.
Available in 11-inch or 13-inch variant, and the usual storage, mobile wireless options.
It looks really good, until one starts checking the various options on Apple's website.
Jaw-dropping price
Depending on configuration, the new iPad Pros starts from the price of a standard laptop and goes to that of a high-end laptop (and beyond).
But assuming you are looking to get a new tablet, there are several reasons to consider the new Apple tablets:
- Apple products hold value the longest.
- Have the most accessories, cases available.
- Assuming no initial defects, it just keeps working.
Specifically, my five-year-old-plus 2018 iPad Pro 13 is still going strong. And oh, it is running the latest beta of iPadOS to boot.
On the flip side, there is no question that an iPad is still not as flexible as a laptop. And when you add in the keyboard cover, it's heavier than some laptops, too.
This means that one must be certain of the use case(s) before getting the iPad.
- As a laptop replacement?
- As a tablet for persuing content?
- As a handy device to review office docs?
